Music By Post is the new album from brothers Dan and Fraser Geesin. These 16 tracks of catchy mantras and sort-of-stories were generated and sung by Dan as he hummed his way through life. These vocals were then posted to Fraser who crystallized sound around them.

Music By Post, which is literally how the album came together, moves in all directions and the songs stay no longer than they need to. Their family influence is unashamedly present although comparison to other music is difficult; so we’ll leave that one to you.

The Geesin brothers hail from Heathfield in East Sussex, England. Fraser lives in Brighton whilst Dan resides mostly in the Netherlands. Both Dan and Fraser pursue interesting if somewhat financially stifling careers in creative practice that also requires the odd job or two to support themselves. They have made numerous music and sculpture projects together, also the short film ‘Things To Do Today’.

Music By Post is here to download; however, in this digital age, the idea of a physical object should not be lost, or overlooked; the CD fold out album cover has been personally hand-printed by Dan in limited edition and comes with a neat little book featuring Fraser’s history of The Geesin Brothers.
